MITA is the leading voice of medical imaging manufacturers before the Administration , U.S. Congress, and Government Agencies (HHS, VA, FDA).

Key priorities of MITA's advocacy efforts include:

• Support consistent and transparent regulatory structures for artificial intelligence that will promote AI technologies and allow providers to improve care for their patients.
• Advocate for passage of provisions to implement minimum requirements for all service providers to ensure consistent service quality regardless of who is servicing a medical device
• Encourage Veteran patient access to lifesaving medical imaging technologies and efficient and timely procurement policies
• Support payment policy that increases access and affordability of innovative medical imaging technology
