Washington, D.C. – The Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) – the leading trade association representing manufacturers of medical imaging equipment, radiopharmaceuticals, contrast media, and focused ultrasound therapeutic devices – has awarded Representative Scott Peters of California’s 50th Congressional District as a recipient of the 2023 MITA Innovation Award. This award recognizes members of Congress who have demonstrated outstanding and ongoing efforts to promote innovation within the medical technology industry to improve patient care.
