MITA Statement on the Recent Passing of DITTA Vice Chair Nicole Denjoy

Washington, D.C. – Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA) Executive Director Patrick Hope issued the following statement concerning the passing of Nicole Denjoy, Vice Chair of the Global Diagnostic Imaging, Healthcare IT & Radiation Therapy Trade Association (DITTA): 

“On the behalf of MITA and the American medical imaging community, I extend my deepest condolences to Nicole’s family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time. Nicole will be remembered as a staunch advocate for the medical technology sector who worked tirelessly to ensure the advancement of new diagnostics and treatments that improve patients’ lives.”

As a Vice Chair, immediate past Chair (2019-2020) and founding member of DITTA, Nicole has led the organization’s official relationships with the World Health Organization (WHO) and World Bank. Since 2005, she has served as the Secretary General of COCIR, a European Trade Association representing the medical imaging, radiotherapy, health ICT and electromedical industries.
