This WSJ/Harris Interactive Poll reported that Americans think that medical imaging is worth it-because it saves lives and money.

The poll found that nearly one-third of adults believe that new technologies such as digital imaging devices and electronic medical records are worth the money because they will improve patient care.
The poll also reported that 36 percent of Americans believe these technologies will ultimately reduce the costs of medical care.
