MITA Nominations to USPSTF


MITA recently sent a letter to the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) nominating MITA members Lori Fontaine R.N., B.S.N, M.P.H. and Dr. Jeff Hersh, PhD, MD, RAC. Ms. Fontaine is the Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Hologic and Dr. Hersch is the Chief Medical Officer for General Electric (GE) Healthcare. The USPSTF is an independent, volunteer panel of national experts tasked with making evidence-based recommendations about clinical preventive services such as screenings, counseling services, and preventive medications.
