Medicare imaging cuts would be bad for seniors and medicine

Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio is serving on the congressional supercommittee that will recommend $1.5 trillion in federal deficit reductions. As much of an honor as this is, he and his 11 colleagues will be judged by their success in reducing spending without causing undue harm to their fellow Americans, particularly citizens of modest means and in vulnerable health.
