Clinical laboratory and imaging industry groups are fear that their industries could take a hit during the deficit-reducing “super committee” meetings scheduled for this November.

Health care-related issues and any area perceived to contribute to high Medicare costs are poised to be front and center as the 12-member Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction looks for ways to cut government spending, industry sources say.
